Just proof that I am actually working on the update and not just talking about it.

Just proof that I am actually working on the update and not just talking about it.

Okay, update’s gonna be later than expected…

But I’m still gonna work on getting it up this weekend. The main problem was a single panel, so I should hopefully be able to speed progress along afterward.

“Great Bird Claw Sp—splash!”I’ve always thought that this minigame is best played alone, anyway. Too much Rhythm Heaven in one stream, Frost! Way too much askdjlajd

man my wings are huuuuuge
did I steal those off of a griffon or something?

More Livestream requests! This style is a lot more fun when I don’t care about shadows, but I decided to play with lighting on Fleur de Lis, since I imagine the reason her coat is so white is because it’s super shiny :0

Requests from a Livestream to practice arting in my new style (though without shading). I was streaming for an hour and a half, but I’m not sure how much of that was getting the requests and trying to decide what music to play. Still, fun!

This is the art style I’m probably gonna use in the future! Though while I have fully decided on this (maybe with a few tweaks), I still need to figure out how to do this more efficiently, since I experimented with some things that caused this to take a lot longer than expected. So for this week, I’ll probably just learn how to draw this looser and quicker for the sake of more common updates, but I might be able to update late this week if I figure it out fast enough. But yeah, question mark because if it were up to me all of my posts would have replies automatically turned on?

Updates won’t return until next week.

Not due to laziness on my part, but because I’m going to use this week to help develop a consistent art style for this blog again that I can do relatively quickly but still looks like it has effort put into it. It’ll probably look something like this but I don’t fully know yet!

….so……..huh.

Apparently if I wanted to get questions I could work with, all I had to do was ask. :0

Yeah, I got at least five good replies already planned out. And by good I mean like… with a lot of drawings.

So…yeah, I might be able to do an update a week if I make them big enough… yeah, this blog might actually be back in full swing.

…so…..suck it Norton Bitcoin?

And even some of them that were technically questions were just “Hey, could I see X happen?” There’s no real fun in being drawn exactly what you’re given when you’re looking for fun in interpretation. Look, here’s an example of one of the questions I currently actually kinda want to answer.

It’s time for Scootaloo to learn to fly ! Can you help her?
Here’s why it’s actually an interesting question:
  1. It’s actually a question.
  2. It’s open to interpretation.
  3. It has potential to be funny/interesting.
Out of the questions I listed, yes, maybe one or two technically fill all three criteria. But the important thing is that most of them don’t. And that’s why I’m not interested in answering them. Just because they’re usable doesn’t mean they’re actually GOOD.
Maybe I’m just a snob when it comes to asks, but it’s better than me churning out pics just so I can say “Hey guys! Guess who’s running a blog consistently! :D”
